"Forbade"
This is my mixed media print. I don't really like it. I wish i could have done something more to it, because i feel like theres not enough media in it. I really like my dragonfly wings and my flowers. My tree is kinda okay, and I just hate the bottom. But Oh well. It looks fine, I guess.
"Martin's Eye"
This is my eyeballs for my art appreciation. I had used oil pastel for this piece. I didn't know what I wanted to do but I knew that I wanted to draw something with a mouth and eyeballs. So I drew this, what I have now. I wanted to make a box full of eye balls, but I didn't I just made them like they were falling off the sky. I really liked the outcome, except for the white circles. They failed. But I love how my tongue looks and how my teeth look like.

"Haunted House"
This is my mirror for print making. i really liked how my words came out, not so much my haunted house because I had this wave roof that I wanted to use, but it would have taken too long. I really didn't enjoy cutting out all the words and haunted house. I also mixed it up and it's all backwards. Oh well.
"Additional Resources"
This is my piece that relates to Holly Kellogg. I enjoyed doing this because I got to use a canvas for the first time. but what I didn't like is that I couldn't get it to look right with the paint. Instead, I made a thick black edge around it, which made them pop. I think I should have made squares, than painted instead of just painting first. I also wished I used a wide variety of colors instead of just the four I did use. But I like the outcome.

"Backwards Notes"
This is print. My notes had came out backwards which upsets me. For the start of my reduction block I started drawing my notes and my guitar with my flowers. I printed black first and I cut out my music notes. After that I printed the brown of my guitar and cut that out. I printed the teal color of my flower and cut out the petals. I printed the center with pink and cut that out. I used a lime green color for my stems and out that out and highlighted the entire thing with black. This was one of my best ones. And I like the way it turned out. i feel very successful about this.

"Apples"
This is my mosaic piece for art appreciation. I punched different shapes of paper to fit each category. I had used a swirly, pretty punch for the sky; a line punch for the grass and that tree. I had used a circle punch for the apples. I had used different variations for each part. I had used for the shadow of the tree a dark brown and a black. For the apples light shade, I used a light orange, a peach, a soft color of red, and some peach. For the dark shadows for the apples, I had used a redish-purple with a dark red. Inside the apple was a dark red and a little dark orange. My grass was a mint green color and a lighter green olor. For the green shadows by the apples was a dark green and the lighter green. For my sky, I had used a light blue and just a normal blue color. It took a lot of work and a lot of glue and time! But I'm very impressed with how it turned out. And my worm that is coming out of the apple is a mixture of peach, orange, brown, and black.

"Tim Burton"
For my Art Appreciation Class, I had wanted to do something dark and depression. I had chose Tim Burton has one of my artists. I love Tim Burton and his works, but I didn't know which one to chose. I came to the conclusion to to do his Sad Face picture. I wanted to do something with love, so I decided to draw a flower since It was a happy thing. I just made a gloomy background and a sad face. For my second picture I had done, I came up with the idea of an eye as a cloud. Since a cloud rains and an eye cries. I drew roses instead of the christmas tree - like the one in Burton's photo. A happy celebration but a sad day - I guess Burton was looking at being opposite.
"Lady in the Trees"
This is the print I had done for printmaking. It is made with sliver, purple, blue, pink and teal ink. I had started with silver and pink perviously for another print and just mixed purple, a little bit of blue and teal in my tray and rolled my colors together onto my block. I just wish the teal had shown a little better, but the purple had swallowed it, sadly.
